Correction To Axle Differential Oil Refill Procedure In Operation And Maintenance Manuals SEBU6865, SEBU7017, SEBU7111, And SEBU7112 {3258}

Step 6 should read as follows:


(1) Drain Plugs.
(2) Level Plug.
(3) Filler Plug.

6. Remove three differential drain plugs (1), level plug (2), and filler plug (3). Allow the oil to drain into a suitable container.

7. Clean and install drain plugs (1).

8. Add new oil to the differential housing through filler hole (3) until the level reaches the bottom of level hole (2).

NOTE: Always use the level plug on the left hand side (the opposite side of differential in relationship to the filler plug, as this will allow the oil to transfer to both sides of the axle during the filling procedure.

9. Clean and install the filler and level plugs.

10. Repeat Steps 6 through 9 for the front differential.
