Description of Change: A new spring assembly used as a detent spring in the transmission control is resistant to fatigue and ensures reliable shifting of the transmission.
Adaptable To: The new 160-5966 Spring Assembly replaces the former 132-7520 Spring Assembly. The new spring assembly is used in the 9U-9491 Transmission Hydraulic Control of D250E (5TN), and D300E (7FN) Articulated Trucks. The new spring assembly is also used in the 123-0278 Transmission Control of D350E (9LR), and D400E (2YR) Articulated Trucks. The new 160-5966 Spring Assembly is effective with D250E (5TN1689), D300E (7FN980), D350E (9LR572), and D400E (2YR945) Articulated Trucks. The new spring assembly is adaptable to earlier machines.
