The following procedure should be used to adjust the 9K-4068 Control (see Illustration 1). A small film is placed on the face of the control in the factory, but may become dislodged (see Illustration 2 for the wording on the film).
The set screws depicted as "A" and "B" are used to adjust the control to prevent slipping or tightness. For slipping, turn set screws "A" and "B" counter clockwise 90 degrees at a time. For excessive tightness, turn set screws "A" and "B" clockwise 90 degrees at a time until proper locking is achieved.
Set screws "C" and "D" are used for drag adjustment. Over tightening of "C" and "D" will cause misalignment and excessive drag as the round plate wears against the lock.
