(2) Clearance between the gear and the body (new) ... 0.061 to 0.147 mm (.0024 to .0058 in)
(3) Clearance between the gear and the body (new) ... 0.087 to 0.153 mm (.0034 to .0060 in)
(4) Clearance between the gear and the body (new) ... 0.055 to 0.107 mm (.0022 to .0042 in)
(5) Diameter of drive and driven shafts (new) ... 31.737 to 31.747 mm (1.2495 to 1.2499 in)
Bore in manifold, body and cover bearings (new) ... 31.778 to 31.794 mm (1.2511 to 1.2517 in)
For bench test, use SAE 10W oil at 49°C (120°F):
(A) Torque converter scavenge section:
Output (minimum) ... 86 L/min (22.7 U.S. gpm)
With pump at ... 1800 rpm
At a pressure of ... 345 kPa (50 psi)
(B) Torque converter charging section:
Output (minimum) ... 136 L/min (35.9 U.S. gpm)
With pump at ... 1800 rpm
At a pressure of ... 1035 kPa (150 psi)
(C) Parking brake release section:
Output (minimum) ... 65 L/min (17.0 U.S. gpm)
With pump at ... 1800 rpm
At a pressure of ... 4136 kPa (600 psi)
