Oil Filters And Lines
Usage:
(1) 4N8150 & 9F6304 Springs for the cooler bypass valve, see chart.
(2) 4N8150 & 9F6304 Springs for the filter bypass valve, see chart.
(3) Torque for the center studs under the filter base [put 9S3263 Thread Lock on last .40 in. (10 mm) of thread at base end of studs] ... 60 ± 10 lb.ft. (80 ± 14 N·m)
(4) Put engine oil on the oil filter seal. Put filter (4) in position and tighten until the seal makes contact with the base. Turn the filter an additional 270°.
