Usage:
(1) Fuel injection pump drive gear and timing advance unit.
(2) Camshaft gear.
NOTE: Make alignment of "V" marks as shown.
(3) Water pump drive gear.
(4) Gear for attachment drive groups.
(5) Idler gear (small) and balancer gear (large).
NOTE: Make alignment of "V" marks as shown.
(6) Diameter of the shaft (new) ... 2.5000 ± .0005 in.(63.500 ± 0.013 mm)
Bore in the bearing (after assembly) ... 2.5040 ± .0015 in.(63.602 ± 0.038 mm)
Bearing joint must be in center of heavy section of gear at assembly.
(7) End clearance (new) ... .011 to .014 in.(0.28 to 0.35 mm)
(8) Plate. The lubrication groove must be against the gear.
(9) Crankshaft gear.
NOTE: Make alignment of "V" marks as shown.
(10) Engine oil pump drive gear.
(11) Torque for bolt ... 40 ± 5 lb. ft.(55 ± 7 N·m)
