SUPPLEMENT FOR 768C TRACTOR & 769C TRUCK & 771C QUARRY TRUCK Caterpillar

Start By:

a. install body support (FT1437) or body retaining pins

1. Open the hood, and fasten tooling (A) and a hoist to the hood. The weight of the hood is 34 kg (75 lb).

2. Remove the nuts and washers that hold hood (1) to the hinge.

3. Lift hood (1) off the hinge.

4. Install the hood in the reverse order of removal.
