Usage:
Start By:
a. remove seat
1. Activate the parking brake.
2. Connect the steering frame lock link. See "Separate & Connect Steering Frame Lock Link" in this module.
At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. To prevent possible personal injury, release the pressure in the hydraulic system before and hydraulic lines or components are disconnected or removed. |
3. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system as follows:
a. Shut off the engine.
b. Move the control levers through their full travel strokes. This will relieve any pressure that may be present in the pilot system.
c. Slowly loosen the air breather cap on the hydraulic oil tank to release the pressure.
d. Tighten the air breather cap on the hydraulic oil tank.
e. The pressure in the hydraulic system has now been released. Lines and components can now be removed.
NOTE: Put identification on all tubes, lines, wires and hoses for installation purposes. Cap all lines to prevent loss of hydraulic oil.
4. Remove two socket head bolts (1) and remove plate (2).
5. Disconnect hose assembly (3) from pressure and flow compensator (5).
6. Remove four socket head bolts (4) and remove pressure and flow compensator (5) from pump with O-ring and gasket.
NOTE: Check O-ring and gasket for wear or damage and replace if necessary.
NOTE: Install in the reverse order.
7. Fill the hydraulic system to the correct level. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual for the correct filling procedure.
8. Separate the steering frame lock link. See "Separate & Connect Steering Frame Lock Link" in this module.
9. Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 7.5 ± .5 N·m (5.5 ± .4 lb ft)
End By:
a. install seat
