(1) 7B6365 Spring for check valve:
Length under test force ... .25 in.(6.4 mm)
Test force ... .042 lb.(0.19 N)
Free length after test ... .50 in.(12.7 mm)
Outside diameter ... .34 in.(8.6 mm)
Install retainer even with top of counterbore and "stake" (make a mark with a punch).
(2) 2F360 Spring:
Length under test force ... 1.344 in.(34.14 mm)
Test force ... 2.85 to 3.15 lb.(12.70 to 14.07 N)
Free length after test ... 1.45 in.(36.8 mm)
Outside diameter ... .41 in.(10.4 mm)
Opening pressure of bypass valve ... 18 ± 4 psi(125 ± 25 kPa)
(3) Make a measurement of the opening between drain elbow and bracket to find the amount of shims needed. Add one shim from shim pack to this amount and fasten bracket in place.
