Oil pressure that makes the oil cooler bypass valve open ... 18 ± 4 psi(125 ± 25 kPa)
(1) Torque for nuts holding oil cooler to oil cooler base (hand torque only) ... 16 ± 2 lb. ft.(22 ± 3 N·m)
NOTE: Assemble gasket to oil cooler base with indexing point toward the front of the engine and in the up position.
(2) 9L9188 Spring (oil cooler bypass valve):
Length under test force ... 1.70 in.(43.2 mm)
Test force ... 3.5 lb.(15.6 N)
Free length after test ... 2.28 in.(57.9 mm)
Outside diameter ... .440 in.(11.18 mm)
(3) Torque for bolts holding the oil pan ... 17 ± 3 lb. ft.(23 ± 4 N·m)
(4) Torque for fitting ... 19 ± 4 lb. ft.(25 ± 5 N·m)
(5) Torque for cap ... 15 ± 4 lb. ft.(20 ± 5 N·m)
