ACTION REQUIRED
- Remove the 6V3822 BOLT, 2432472 BRACKET, 2448949 BRACKET, and the 2448650 SPACER.
- Install the 1F1609 SPACER, 5L4241 SPACER, 6V4249 BOLT, 2514097 BRACKET, and the 2514098 BRACKET AS.

The alternator bracket may fail resulting in loss of alternator charging. A new alternator bracket needs to be installed on the products listed below. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Caterpillar dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service. Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated January 6, 2005 when scheduling this service.
