Certain 789 Trucks equipped with a high ambient radiator group are operating above 5000 feet in altitude. This may result in too high an exhaust gas temperature (and contribute to lower exhaust system component lift) when operating in ambient temperatures above 70 degrees F.

Action Required
Replace the existing jacket water radiator top tank with the new parts for a separate circuit radiator top tank. This will reduce exhaust temperatures by lowering aftercooler water temperatures.
Service Claim Allowances
NOTE: This is a 10-hour job.
Parts Disposition
Any parts removed can be rendered useless and scrapped immediately upon completion of the repair.
