New Relief Valve Guide Used In Oil Pump Groups

3204 Industrial Engines
Description of Change: A new relief valve guide is used in oil pump groups used in 3204 Industrial Engines. See the illustration. When compared to the former guide, the new guide has relocated larger diameter bypass holes which will lower the maximum oil system pressure. This will help prevent possible oil filter damage from excessive oil pressure during cold engine starts.
Adaptable To: The new 7W239 Guide is a direct replacement for the former 7W2219 or 1N3234 Guides in the 2W2833 and 2W6697 Oil Pump Groups used on 3204 Industrial Engines. The former 7W2219 and 1N3234 Guides are canceled.
Location of new relief valve guide in oil pump group.
