New Outer Bearing Race Used In Auxiliary Fan Drive Group

Usage:


3408 And 3408B Industrial, Marine And Generator Set Engines (67U, 99U, 78Z);
3412 Industrial, Marine And Generator Set Engines (38S, 60U, 81Z)

Description of Change: A new outer bearing race is used in the auxiliary fan drive groups in the above applications. The new bearing race has a larger inside diameter than the former bearing race. This will decrease the roller bearing preload and help to increase the service life of the auxiliary fan drive group.

Adaptable As: The new 8T209 Roller Bearing Race is a direct replacement for the former 6V6570 Roller Bearing Race which is canceled.


Location of new 8T109 Roller Bearing Race.
