New Software Is Used on Certain G3520C Generator Set Engines {1901, 1920}

- G3520C (S/N: GZN1-UP; CWW1-UP)
Description of Change: The new engine software has an improved turbocharger surge strategy. The new strategy will allow the engine to operate normally if the grid frequency rises above 51 Hz.
Note: This software must be ran on engines operating in applications that are parallel to a grid and have frequency deviations of more than 1 Hz.
Adaptable To: The new 451-0599 Engine Ratings Electronic Software Gp replaces the existing software. The new engine software is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above.
This change is effective on the serial number listed in Table 1.
