Engine News SEBD9924, 14 February 2014, "New Software Is Used on Certain C27 Industrial Engines". Disregard the previous article, the engine effectivity has been updated.

Description of Change: The new software has an improved strategy for cold weather starting.

Adaptable To: The new 452-5978 Engine Ratings Electronic Software Gp replaces the existing 391-9927 Engine Ratings Electronic Software Gp. The new software is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above.

This change is effective for engine serial numbers TWM04998-UP
