Jacobs Announces Rework Program For Certain Engine Brake Control Modules On 3176 Truck Engines{1119}
Usage:
The Jacobs Vehicle Equipment Company recently announced a program to rework certain Model C317 Engine Brake Control Modules for 3176 Truck Engines built before December 1989. The rework involves replacing faulty brake control modules which may allow brake activation during engine fueling. Prolonged brake operation during fueling can result in severe engine damage.
Jacobs has requested that owner of 3176 Truck Engines built before January 1990 and equipped with Jake Brakes ® contact their local Jacobs dealer to schedule the repair.
