Usage:

C9 JLW

Probable Causes

  • Low coolant level and/or coolant leakage

  • Coolant level sensor

Recommended Actions

Low Coolant Level and/or Coolant Leakage

  1. Inspect the coolant level. If necessary, add coolant.

  1. Check for the correct mixture of antifreeze and water. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual.

  1. Check the cooling system for leaks. Repair any leaks immediately.

  1. Check for air in the cooling system. Refer to Systems Operation/Testing and Adjusting for the correct procedure.

Coolant Level Sensor

If an electrical problem with the coolant level sensor is suspected, refer to Troubleshooting, "Coolant Level - Test" for information that is related to troubleshooting an electrical problem with the coolant level sensor.
