(1) Hydraulic oil filter bypass valve indicator lamp |
All oil from the charge pump flows through the hydraulic oil filter. A bypass valve is located in the filter base. The bypass valve allows oil to flow around the filter if the oil is cold or if the filter is plugged. A differential pressure switch in the filter base turns on indicator lamp (1) on the instrument cluster. If the bypass switch opens and the oil temperature is above a set value, the indicator lamp will illuminate. Oil flows from the hydraulic oil filter to the implement pilot, hystat pump control, hystat interlock solenoid, and the hystat pump charge relief valve.

(1) Transmission oil filter bypass valve indicator lamp |
All oil from the lube pump flows through the transmission oil filter. A bypass valve is located in the filter base. The bypass valve allows oil to flow around the filter if the oil is cold or if the filter is plugged. A pressure switch in the filter base turns on indicator lamp (2) on the instrument cluster if the bypass valve opens. Oil flows from the transmission oil filter to the transmission lube system. Oil from the transmission oil filter is also routed to the clutch for engaging the rear hystat motor.
