Fuel Tank (Right Side) - Remove and Install

Start By:

  1. Connect the steering frame lock.

  2. Release the hydraulic system pressure.

------ WARNING! ------

Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire. To help prevent possible injury, turn the start switch off when changing fuel filters or water separator elements. Clean up fuel spills immediately.


  1. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Fuel Tank Water and Sediment - Drain" and Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

  2. Remove covers (1).

  3. Disconnect hose assembly (2) and hose (3).

  4. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to right side fuel tank (4). The weight of right side fuel tank (4) is approximately 125 kg (275 lb).

  5. Remove four bolts (5) and remove right side fuel tank (4).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install right side fuel tank (4) in the reverse order of the removal procedure.
