Description

The Front Limited Slip Differential on certain 906 and 908 can become noisy. The differential can be replaced.

Instruction

Remove the differential assembly and replace the differential assembly. Refer to the following for the complete procedure.

The 908 Compact Wheel Loader will require the brakes to be bled after assembly. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, RENR6456, "906 and 908 Wheel Loaders Power Train ", "Brake System Air - Purge".

Note: All affected machines have front limited slip differentials. So, 0.5 L (0.5 qt) of 1U-9891 Hydraulic Oil Additive should be added.
