Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, thoroughly clean all parts in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Do not use wiping cloths or rags to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Dirt and other contaminants can damage the precision component. Perform assembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury. To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment. |
- Apply Tooling (C) to the back side of ring (9). Install ring (9) and O-ring seals (8). Lightly lubricate O-ring seals with SAE 30 Oil. Install shaft (7).

Note: Use Tooling (C) in order to make sure that disks (5) and plates (6) remain seated during installation.
- Apply Tooling (C) to both sides of disks (5) and plates (6). Install disks (5) and plates (6). Begin with a disk (5) and alternate between the disks and the plates.

28 kg (62 lb) . - Install six bolts (3). Remove Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) and install remaining two bolts (3).
- Lightly lubricate O-ring seal (1) with SAE 30 Oil and install O-ring seal (1). Connect hose assembly (2).
