(1) Seven bolts

Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of the seven bolts before assembly.
Torque for the seven bolts ... 60 N·m (45 lb ft)

(2) Torque for the ten bolts ... 120 N·m (90 lb ft)

(3) Torque for the nut ... 1290 N·m
(950 lb ft)

ReferenceFor additional information about tightening the nut, refer to the Service Manual module Disassembly and Assembly for the machine that is being serviced.

(4) Torque for the two bolts ... 60 N·m (45 lb ft)

Maximum pressure ... 24500 kPa (3500 psi)
Relief valves ... 28000 kPa (4060 psi)

Rotator at normal operating pressures

Pressure ... 20700 kPa (3000 psi)
Rotating speed at 19 LITER PER MINUTE (5 US GPM) ... 18 RPM
Torque at 20700 kPa (3000 psi) ... 3400 N·m (2500 lb ft)

Rotator at maximum pressures

Pressure ... 25000 kPa (3625 psi)
Rotating speed at 34 LITER PER MINUTE (9 US GPM) ... 26 RPM
Torque at 25000 kPa (3625 psi) ... 4100 N·m (3025 lb ft)

Note: Ensure that the grapple OPEN line is connected to port (E). The "OPEN" port is labelled in red paint.
Ensure that the grapple CLOSE line is connected to port (F). The "CLOSE" port is labelled in red paint.
