Description of Change: A different plug is now used in the pressure reducing valve to reduce the possibility of leaking. The 9S-8005 Plug has been replaced with a 9S-4185 Plug. The 9S-8005 Plug has a head that requires an allen wrench. When the 9S-8005 Plug is used, the proper torque is not achieved on a consistent basis. The 9S-4185 Plug has a hex head. When the 9S-4185 Plug is used, proper torque is achieved on a consistent basis. The former plug and the new plug use a 3K-0360 O-Ring Seal .
Adaptable To: The 9S-4185 Plug with a 3K-0360 O-Ring Seal is effective with the following Track-Type Tractors:

Note: The use of the 9S-4185 Plug is highly recommended for servicing of the previous plugs. If servicing a 9S-8005 Plug and a 9S-4185 Plug is not available, use the 9S-8005 Plug with a 3K-0360 O-Ring Seal. Ensure that the proper torque is achieved if you are installing the 9S-8005 Plug. If servicing the original Zero Leak Gold plug and a 9S-4185 Plug is not available, use a 9S-8005 Plug with a 3K-0360 O-Ring Seal. Ensure that the proper torque is achieved when you are installing the 9S-8005 Plug. If the 9S-4185 Plug and the 9S-8005 Plug are not available, service the original Zero Leak Gold plug with a 7J-9108 O-Ring Seal. This will work as a temporary repair. Replace the temporary parts with a 9S-4185 Plug and a 3K-0360 O-Ring Seal at the earliest convenience.
