(1) Left manifold

(2) Plug

Apply 5P-3931 High Temperature Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of the plug prior to assembly.

(3) Bolt

1. Apply 5P-3931 High Temperature Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of all exhaust manifold bolts, nuts, and locknuts.

2. Tighten diagonally opposite bolts so that the bolts are snug in order to seat the seal uniformly.

3. Tighten the bolts to the following torque:

   Torque ... 55 ± 5 N·m (41 ± 4 lb ft)

(4) Plug

Apply 5P-3931 High Temperature Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of the plug prior to assembly.

(5) Right manifold

(6) Bolts

1. Apply 5P-3931 High Temperature Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of the bolts that hold exhaust manifolds to the cylinder head.

2. Tighten the bolts to the following torque:

   Torque ... 50 ± 5 N·m (37 ± 4 lb ft)
