(6) Apply 4C-9507 Retaining Compound to the outside diameter of the dowel only prior to installation. Make sure that the dowel is against the bottom of the dowel hole.

(10) Lubricate the seal heavily with the lubricant that is being sealed.
(11) Lubricate the entire length of the pin heavily with the lubricant that is being sealed.

(12) (13) Make sure that the openings for the spring pins are aligned 180 degrees from each other. The openings for the spring pins must be flush with the top of carrier.
(14) To ensure retention of the spring pins, deform the spring pin holes slightly with a chisel.
