Inlet oil to transmission charging pump section (24) is delivered from reservoir (19). The oil flows through magnetic screen (22) to transmission charging pump section (24). The oil then flows through transmission oil filter (1) to either downshift solenoid (2) or upshift solenoid (3). The oil flows to priority reduction valve (4) of selector group (5). The priority valve divides the pressure oil into pilot oil for pressure control group (7) and supply oil for the pressure control group.

Transmission scavenge pump section (25) pulls oil from transfer gear case (21) and reservoir (20). This oil flows through scavenge screen (23) for the transfer gear case and transmission scavenge pump section (25). The oil then flows to reservoir (19).

The discharge oil from torque converter (26) flows through return line (31) to oil cooler (16). Oil from the oil cooler divides. Some of the oil flows through lube line (15) for the flywheel in order to lubricate the flywheel. Some of the oil flows to transmission case (8) in order to lubricate the transmission.

Transmission charging pump section (24) pulls oil from reservoir (19). This oil flows through magnetic screen (22), transmission charging pump section (24), and transmission oil filter (1) to upshift solenoid (3), downshift solenoid (2) and priority reduction valve (4) .

Oil in flywheel case (14) flows through scavenge screen (18) for the flywheel, scavenge pump (17) and line (12). The oil then flows to bearing cage (10) for the drive shaft.
