Start By:

  1. Remove the transmission oil and scavenge pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transmission Oil and Scavenge Pump - Remove".

  1. Remove two O-ring seals (1) from manifold assembly (2). Remove four bolts (3) that secure the cover to manifold assembly (2) .

  1. Turn over the pump. Remove two bolts (4) that secure cover (5) to manifold assembly (2). Remove cover (5) and the O-ring seal from manifold assembly (2) .

    Note: Mark the position of the gears on the gear assemblies for assembly purposes.

  1. Remove two dowel pins (6) from body assembly (7). Remove body assembly (7) from manifold assembly (2). Remove two gears (8) from two gear assemblies (9) .

  1. Remove O-ring seal (10) from cover assembly (11). Remove key (12) from gear assembly (9). Remove two bolts (13) that secure cover assembly (11) to manifold assembly (2). Remove cover assembly (11) from manifold assembly (2) .

  1. Remove two O-ring seals (14) from cover assembly (11). Use Tooling (A) to remove two bearings (15) from cover assembly (11) .

    Note: Mark the position of the gear assemblies for assembly purposes.

  1. Remove two gear assemblies (9) from manifold assembly (2) .

  1. Use Tooling (A) to remove two bearings (16) from manifold assembly (2). Remove two dowel pins (17) from manifold assembly (2) .
