PARTS NEEDED
1 - 1106393 PLATE-INSTACTION REQUIRED
Evacuate the A/C system of all refrigerant and recharge per SENR5664-07. The new charge is 1.9kg. Replace 1106393 Plate with new one containing the correct charge.OWNER NOTIFICATION

MODELS INVOLVED - ON CERTAIN 966G AND 972G II MACHINES
Dear Caterpillar Product Owner:
The A/C system needs to be evacuated and recharged on the products listed below. Certain 966-972G II machines were overcharged with 134A refrigerant in the factory. Overcharge will cause premature failure of the A/C system. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Caterpillar dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service. Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated January 6, 2002 when scheduling this service.
We regret the inconvenience this may cause you, but urge you to have this service performed as soon as possible to prevent unscheduled downtime.
