Data Link Parameters

Usage:

C-9 MTB

"Powertrain Data Link"

This parameter must be programmed to "J1939" in order to receive any switch inputs from the "J1939" data link. This parameter determines if the ECM will communicate to a power train component with the J1939 data link. If the vehicle is not using the data link for communication to the power train systems, this parameter should be programmed to "None". The following systems are examples of power train systems:

Traction control systems
Anti-lock brake systems
Electronically controlled transmissions
