Improved seals are now available for the stick cylinder group for the machines that are listed above. Oil leaks between the cylinder head to the cylinder assembly joint have been reported. High snubbing pressure can cause the cylinder assembly to become deformed and cause the cylinder head seals to leak.

If the stick cylinder head seals on your machine leak, measure the inside diameter of the cylinder assembly 20 mm (0.8 inch) in from the edge of the cylinder assembly opening.

If the bore diameter measures 0.15 mm (0.0059 inch) or more over the bore specification, the cylinder assembly is out of round ( 150.15 mm (5.911 inch)).

If the cylinder assembly is out of round, replace the stick cylinder assembly with a new stick cylinder assembly and a new seal kit (see Table 1). If the stick cylinder assembly is not out of round, replace the complete seal kit with a new seal kit. Refer to Table 1 for a list of the new seal kits.
