The inlet manifold air pressure is a good indication of the engine load.

Plugs on top of the inlet air manifold | |
To measure the inlet manifold pressure, remove one of the plugs from the top of the inlet air manifold. Connect a line from the opening to a pressure gauge in the 1U-5470 Engine Pressure Group. Operate the engine under a load.
