1. Attach a suitable lifting device to the grapple crosshead (1) and a hoist.

2. Use a hoist to lift the hydraulic rotator (2) onto the lower plate assembly. The weight of the hydraulic rotator is approximately 245 kg (540 lb).

3. Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the 20 bolts (3). Install the 20 bolts (3) into the underside of the bearing assembly. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 215 ± 40 N·m (159 ± 30 lb ft).

4. Connect the four hydraulic lines (7) that connect the hydraulic cylinders (6) to the rotator manifold (8) .

5. Install bolts (4) and install the cover plates (5) on each side of the lower plate assembly.

End By:

1. Open the ball valves on the stick of the host machine.
2. Start the host machine and operate the grapple in order to purge any air that may be in the hydraulic lines.
