Filter element (14) in pilot filter (11) removes contaminants from the pilot oil.
Cold oil or contaminated oil may cause oil flow through filter element (14) to become restricted. If the flow through filter element (14) becomes restricted, the oil bypasses filter element (14) through bypass relief valve (15).
