Turbocharger - Install
Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Install new gasket (11) on exhaust manifold elbow (9) .

- Place a new gasket (not shown) on pipe (4) .

- Install pipe (4) and tighten bolts (10) onto turbocharger (7) .
- Install turbocharger (7) on elbow (9).

- Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the studs that fasten exhaust manifold elbow (9) to turbocharger (7). Install nuts (8) and tighten the nuts to a torque of 44 N·m (33 lb ft).
- Install pipe (4) into hose (5) and tighten clamp (6) .

- Connect pipe (2) .
- Install clamp (3) .
- Install hose (1) and tighten the hose clamps on hose (1) .
