(1) Add 0.17 L (.04 US gal) of SAE 30CD oil before installing the plug.
(2) At assembly, O-rings of floating seal and all surfaces in contact with the O-rings must be clean and dry. Apply a thin coat of oil on the contacting surfaces of the metal seals before installation.
(3) End Play:
- Minimum ... 0.25 mm (.010 inch)
- Maximum ... 1.25 mm (.050 inch)
(4) Apply a thin coat of oil on the seal.
