Position (1) is 0.0 mm (0.0 inch) from the face of the rear housing. Position (1) can be used on engines that have a new crankshaft or a reconditioned crankshaft.

Position (2) is 4.6 mm (0.18 inch) from the face of the rear housing. Position (2) is used when a new seal is first installed to a engine in service.

Position (3) is 6.9 mm (0.27 inch) from the face of the rear housing. Position (3) is used when a new seal is installed in service and the crankshaft flange is worn in Position (2) .

Rear Seal (One-piece Assembly)
