Pulverizer Cylinder

Usage:

P16 1ZW

Illustration 1g00479669

The arm cylinder is a double acting cylinder. Hydraulic oil enters port (2). The oil flows into area (4). Pressure increases as the oil moves into area (4). The pressure buildup causes the cylinder head (5) to extend.

Hydraulic oil enters port (1). The oil flows into area (3). Pressure increases as the oil moves into area (3). The pressure buildup causes the cylinder head (5) to retract.

Rod end (6) is fixed to the crusher housing. Head end (5) is movable with the arm.

Hydraulic oil flows through the rod during extension of the arm cylinder. There are no hoses that are connected to the cylinder head. These hoses would not have protection. This configuration allows all hoses to have protection inside the pulverizer housing.
