The internal weld locations indicated in Illustration 1 have been increased on both sides of the frame assembly.
Refer to the most recent version of Special Instruction, REHS0744, "Inspection and Repair of the 797, 797B, and 797F Off-Highway Truck Frame and Rear Axle Housing" for instructions. The special instruction can be found on the Caterpillar service information system (SIS) and through the normal literature distribution system at your local Cat dealer.
