Solution
Caterpillar is aware of this problem, but an Interim Repair has not been defined.
Replace the damaged part with the same part.
Create a SIMS entry for any leaks on the steering valve groups and hold the failed hoses for a "Send-It-Back" request (SIB). A "Send- It-Back" request (SIB) will be issued to you through the "Send-It-Back" process after the SIMS entry is created. When returning the part, label the part with a blue warranty tag. Write the seal part number, valve group part number, three-digit date code and part hours on the tag.
