Description Of Change: An improved hose material with higher strength and heat resistance is now used on certain 834K Wheel Dozer, 836K Landfill Compactor, and 988K Wheel Loaders.

Adaptable To: The new 486-8459 Hose replaces the former 368-2846 hose. See rework procedure below.

Rework Procedure

Location of hose (1) 486-8459 Hose

1. Remove former hose that routes between the turbo to the CRS system. Retain hardware for reuse.

2. Install new 486-8459 Hose (1) in the location of the former hose using the retained hardware.
