- Release the hydraulic system pressure.

Cylinders equipped with lock valves can remain pressurized for very long periods of time, even with the hoses removed. Failure to relieve pressure before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder can result in personal injury or death. Ensure all pressure is relieved before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder. |
- Disconnect harness assembly (3). Remove retaining ring (4) and arm (5). Remove clip (2) and sensor (1).

Illustration 4 g03031997 - Remove clip (6). Disconnect hose assemblies (7). Relocate harness assembly (8). Open hood assembly (9). Attach a suitable lifting device to tilt cylinder (11). The weight of tilt cylinder (11) is approximately
54 kg (119 lb) . Remove pin (10) and tilt cylinder (11).

- Install tilt cylinder (11) in the reverse order of removal.
