  1. Attach rear axle assembly (9) to Tooling (B) with suitable chains. The weight of rear axle assembly (9) is approximately 300 kg (660 lb).

  2. Position bolts (14) with washers and nuts. Repeat this step for the opposite side

  3. Tighten bolts (14).

  4. Install cover (13). Repeat this step for the opposite side.

  5. Connect hose assemblies (11) and (12) to rear axle assembly (9).

  6. Install receiver assembly (10).

  7. Connect hose assembly (8) to rear axle assembly (9).

  8. Apply Tooling (D) on bolts (7). Install bolts (7) in order to connect rear drive shaft (6). Tighten bolts (7) to a torque of 28 ± 7 N·m (248 ± 62 lb in).

  9. Connect parking brake cable assembly (4). Install pin (5). Install clip (3).

  10. Secure rear tire and rim (2) to a suitable power truck. The weight of rear tire and rim (2) is approximately 175 kg (385 lb). Use the suitable power truck in order to position rear tire and rim (2) onto the machine.

    Note: Ensure that the studs and lug nuts (1) are clean and dry.

  11. Apply one drop of Tooling (C) to the threads of lug nuts (1). Install lug nuts (1).

  12. Repeat Steps 10 through 11 for the opposite side of the machine.

  13. Raise the rear of the machine. Remove Tooling (A). Lower the machine to the ground.

  14. Tighten lug nuts (1) to a torque of 190 ± 10 N·m (140 ± 7 lb ft). Turn lug nuts (1) an additional 60 degrees ± 5 degrees. Repeat this step for the opposite side of the machine.

  15. Purge the air from the brakes. Refer to Testing and Adjusting Manual, "Brake System Air - Purge".
