(1) Use the discarded bushing that was removed during the disassembly procedure.

Note: The auxiliary valve in this procedure only has a third function valve section. However the auxiliary control valve may also contain a fourth function valve section. In this case repeat Steps 4 through 54 in order to assemble the fourth function valve section.

  1. Install O-ring seals (113), O-ring seals (115), and O-ring seal (116) to cover (111). Install fitting (114) and the O-ring seal.

  10. Install seat (100) to valve (91). Tighten seat (100) to a torque of 22 ± 2 N·m (195 ± 18 lb in).

  12. Install valve (97) and spring (96) to valve (91).

  13. Install retainer (95) and nut (94) to Dimension (Z) that was obtained during the disassembly process. Tighten nut (94) to a torque of 35 ± 5 N·m (26 ± 4 lb ft).

  14. Install cap (93) onto valve (91).

  16. Install valve (91) and bolts (90). Tighten bolts (90) to a torque of 35 ± 5 N·m (26 ± 4 lb ft).

  17. Lower the temperature of seat (88) (not shown). Use a suitable press in order to install seat (88) (not shown) into body assembly (83).

  20. Use Tooling (D) and a suitable press in order to press bearing (87) into body assembly (83) to Depth (E). Depth (E) is equal to 3.10 ± 0.10 mm (0.122 ± 0.004 inch).

  21. Install plug (86) and the O-ring seal to valve (78). Tighten plug (86) to a torque of 20 ± 2 N·m (177 ± 18 lb in).

  22. Install retaining ring (85) and stem (84) to valve (78).

  23. Install O-ring seal (82), backup ring (81), and O-ring seal (80) to body assembly (83). Install spring (79) and valve (78).

  25. Install retainer assembly (74) and nut (73) to relief and check valve (72). Make sure that Dimension (Y), that was obtained during the disassembly process, is maintained. Tighten nut (73) to a torque of 50 ± 7 N·m (37 ± 5 lb ft).

  26. Install relief and check valve assembly (72). Tighten relief and check valve assembly (72) to a torque of 145 ± 15 N·m (107 ± 11 lb ft).

  27. Install retainer (69), spring (70), and retainer (71).

  28. Install fitting (68) and the O-ring seal to housing assembly (61).

  29. Install O-ring seals (67) onto cartridge (66).

  30. Install cartridge (66). Tighten cartridge (66) to a torque of 35 ± 3 N·m (26 ± 2 lb ft).

  31. Install solenoid (65). Make sure that the orientation of solenoid (65) is correct. Install nut (64). Tighten nut (64) to a torque of 20 ± 3 N·m (177 ± 27 lb in).

  35. Install plug (57). Tighten plug (57) to a torque of 300 ± 40 N·m (220 ± 30 lb ft).

  36. Lower the temperature of seat (55) (not shown). Use a suitable press in order to install seat (55) (not shown) into body assembly (50).

  41. Install retaining ring (52) and stem (51) to valve (45).

  44. Install retainer assembly (41) and nut (40) to relief and check valve (39). Make sure that Dimension (X), that was obtained during the disassembly process, is maintained. Tighten nut (40) to a torque of 50 ± 7 N·m (37 ± 5 lb ft).

  45. Install relief and check valve assembly (39). Tighten relief and check valve assembly (39) to a torque of 145 ± 15 N·m (107 ± 110 lb ft).

  59. Install shuttle valve (10). Tighten shuttle valve (10) to a torque of 70 ± 7 N·m (52 ± 5 lb ft).

  64. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to auxiliary control valve (1). Set auxiliary control valve (1) on mounting plate (5).
