In order to allow equitable parts availability to all participating dealers, please limit your initial parts order to not exceed 16% of dealership population. This is an initial order recommendation only, and the ultimate responsibility for ordering the total number of parts needed to satisfy the program lies with the dealer. |
ACTION REQUIRED
Failure of the 373-6537 or 10R-5667 Oil Cooler Core Assembly can be detected by using the following method. View the coolant level sight glass in the expansion tank for an indication of oil in the coolant. If oil is visible in the sight glass, then the oil cooler may have failed. Replace the oil cooler per SENR6564, Disassembly and Assembly. The new oil cooler is not a direct replacement. The new oil cooler is more restrictive, and requires a new oil pump relief valve spring and new oil cooler bypass valve spring to maintain the correct system pressure. Please follow KENR6055 for the disassembly, assembly and installation of the engine oil pump and oil cooler. The new springs are: Oil pump relief valve spring 471-0040 Oil cooler bypass spring 471-2751 |
