| 1 | 8 | 138-8862 Mount | Use the following procedure to install mount (1):
1. Apply 5P-3975 Rubber Lubricant to the metal outside diameter of the mount assemblies. 2. Install the mounts. 3. Install all the sleeves (2) in to upper mount without lubricant. 4. The upper sleeve should protrude above the top surface of the upper portion of the mount 5. The lower sleeve should protrude below the bottom surface of the lower portion of the mount assembly 6. The sleeves should contact the upper and lower washers before the washers contact the mount (3). 7. Apply lubricant to the inside diameter of the lower mount before inserting the lower mount over the sleeves (2). 8. Before, assembling the lower mount use generous amount of lubricant. 9. Start all the four bolts (4) with hand tightening before applying final torque. 10. Within ten minutes run down the final torque to the bolts (4). 11. Do not over tighten the bolts. |
