MH3049 Material Handler Caterpillar


Before Operation

Usage:

MH3049 HPB
Clear all personnel from the machine and from the area.

Clear all obstacles from the path of the machine. Beware of hazards (wires, ditches, etc.).

Be sure that all windows are clean. Secure the doors and the windows in the open position or in the shut position.

Adjust the rearview mirrors (if equipped) for the best visibility close to the machine. Make sure that the horn, the travel alarm (if equipped), and all other warning devices are working properly.

Fasten the seat belt securely.

Warm up the engine and the hydraulic oil before operating the machine. Refer to this Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine and Machine Warm-up" for additional information.

Before moving the machine, check the position of the undercarriage and ensure that the appropriate "Operation Mode Control" has been selected. The operation mode control changes the direction of the travel pedal controls, steering controls, and stabilizer controls. Refer to this Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Operator Controls" for additional information.
