Description of Change: The improved arrangement will enable the bolt head to withstand high stress in a side loaded event improving the service life of the bolt.

Adaptable To: The new 420-5462 Pin and 424-7257 Washer are adaptable and effective in production with the machines that are listed in Table 1.

The new 420-5462 Pin replaces the former 7D-3009 Pin. The new 424-7257 Washer replaces the former 8X-8431 Washer and 8C-6913 Hard Washer in the rear suspension group.

1. Remove four bolts (A) and four full nuts (E). Retain the parts.

2. Remove four pins (C), eight hard washers (D), and eight washers (B). Discard the parts.

3. Install four new pins (2) and eight new washers (1) .

4. Install bolts (A) and full nuts (E) that were saved in Step 1.
