Introduction
The implement system configurations are programmed from the factory according to the machine shipping order. Many system parameters can be configured based on:
- Operator/customer preferences
- The addition of an attachment
- Reinstallation of software or replacement of the Electronic Control Module (ECM)
When changing certain configurations, a component calibration procedure may be required.
Note: When flashing the Power Train ECM using the J1939 CAN communication system, the Power Train ECM will display as "Transmission". Select "Transmission" when flashing software to a new ECM that will be used as the Power Train ECM. Also, select "Transmission" when updating the software on an existing Power Train ECM.
A new ECM can be delivered with the latest software and parameter defaults loaded.
The following table lists the Power Train ECM configurations for the Power Train System.
