Heating Element (Extender) - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the extender screed plate. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Screed Plate (Extender) - Remove and Install".
- Remove spacer bar (2) and temperature sensor (3) as a unit. Remove cover (1) .

- Remove bolts (5), brackets (4), element (6), and element (7) .

Installation Procedure

- Apply Tooling (A) to a width of 10 mm (0.4 inch) and to a thickness of 5 mm (0.2 inch) to the bottom of element (6) and element (7). Install element (6) and element (7) .

- Apply Tooling (B) to bolts (5). Install brackets (4) and bolts (5) .
- Apply Tooling (A) to the bottom of temperature sensor (3). Install cover (1). Install temperature sensor (3) and spacer bar (2) as a unit.
